Jonathan van der Walt is a visual artist based in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa, with a passion for sculpture.

Motivated by a love for both traditional and new media sculpture, weaving the old and the new by incorporating lost-wax bronze casting with digital modeling and 3D printing.

Driven by an inspiration of form, the object in space, and the presence and power in its contours.

An eclectic portfolio that is naturalistically rendered and conceptually tongue-in-cheek. The aesthetic and medium heavily dependent on the theme and concept, resulting in a variety of scales, from small-scale sculptures and 3D printed miniatures to large-scale public sculpture and boardroom focal pieces.
