Late for a Picnic with Sarah (2018)

This sculpture was originally conceived for an exhibition at Knysna Fine Art gallery. The title of the exhibition was ‘The Blushful Hippocrene’, and I , along with other artists from around the country, was invited to respond to the theme of wine and art.

The subject of my piece is none other than my beautiful partner and talented sculptor, Sarah Walmsley. And yes, that is a backpack of wine bottles 🙂
